Freightliner has been a trusted truck brand globally and has its most significant market share in the Americas and Canada. The Freightliner M2 106 does not disappoint the brand and its predecessors.

It is a versatile medium-duty truck that can be fitted to do more jobs than a pocket knife. It can be configured to support various bodies and chassis equipment, from a crane fit to a flatbed to a refrigerated unit.

The Freight M2 106 has four engine options: the Detroit DD5, Detroit DD8, Cummings L9 and the Cummings B6.7.

It comes in both manual and automatic transmission, and there are options on the type of transmission available. These include a Mercedes six-speed and any of the Eaton Fuller manuals that go up to 11 speeds or an Eaton Fuller six-speed automatic and any of the Allison series engines between 1000 and 3000.

These give the M2 106 a GVWR of 66,000 pounds. It also has an option to choose between the Day cab, Extended cab or the larger Crew cab.

Isuzu NPR

Isuzu NPR

Navigate the busy city streets while still carrying the load with the Isuzu NPR, which was built to offer you and your business the flexibility you need.

The Isuzu NPR is reliable and offers excellent comfort for the driver, too. It comes with a standard cab or a larger Crew cab that can seat up to seven people. This limits your body application to 16 ft, whereas the standard cab can accommodate a 20 ft container.

Isuzu has changed the trucking industry as they have the only low-cab-forward truck that runs on gasoline, making it easier to pull into any gas station to fill up. There is, however, the option of getting a diesel-powered truck.

The Class 3 NPR comes with a six-speed automatic transmission and has a GVWR of 18,000 lbs, while the Class 4 NPR has a GVWR of 20,500 lbs.

GMC Savana Truck

GMC Savana Truck

The GMC Savana truck is the larger version of the Savana van and is made by cutting away the van’s body to fit whatever body you need for your business. These are also popular as ambulance service vehicles or supersize them to operate as a people carrier for your employees.

The only limitation to the Savana’s functionality is your imagination.

Each of the trucks has different functionality, and it all bubbles down to how big a payload you need to transport every day and your preference.
